She holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and a Master of Dental Science (MDS) in Orthodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India. She is also a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthodontics) and a member of the Indian Orthodontic Society.
Her early career included consulting at multiple clinics across Bangalore, followed by roles at Axiss Dental Clinics, Sakra World Hospital, Apollo White Dental, and Rangadore Memorial Hospital. She also served as an Associate Professor at Oxford Dental College in Bangalore. Dr. Bhavisetti later moved to the UAE.
